Put the 17th of August on your calendar folks, it’s the 10th Annual Skagit Woodstock Festival in aid of the Cancer Patient Assistance Fund.
Head on over to Edgewater Park in Mount Vernon to join your neighbors and the local community for a fun family day out. The music lineup is set to impress, and there’ll be some classic and modern cars and motorcycles on display. No need to pack lunch unless you want because there’ll be food vendors to keep you fed, and a beer garden to sit back and relax in.
Geared towards supporting local cancer patients, Skagit Woodstock is a weekend festival not to be missed out on! There’s a raffle with some great prizes to be won, and all proceeds from ticket sales and entrance will go to support our local cancer patients and their families.
What to Expect
It will be the usual vibe of vendor booths, camp chairs, flip flops, cool sunglasses, and happy people. From an array of food and drink items such as fresh pancakes served piping hot, to icy beers or cold sodas that cool against the heat, there is something for everyone! This is an event that you can bring the whole family to enjoy!
For those who love to shop, there will be a variety of items on sale. Wander around the craft vendor stalls to find everything from clothes to temporary tattoos in typical festival style.
There will be space for the kids to run rampant and burn off some energy while you sit back and enjoy all the great entertainment, shopping, and food available. Between midday and 6 pm Frankie the Fire Truck will be around to keep them busy with loads of great kiddies activities. All for free!
Who to Expect
Once again, there’s a great line up for the festival – what’s Woodstock without some soul rocking tunes! Expect to be serenaded to the sound of classic and acoustic rock, blues, acoustic and rhythm to name but a few genres.
The all-star line up includes Featuring the likes of The Chris Eger Band, Cory Vincent Group, Whiskey Fever, and Mama Dirty Skirt in order of appearance. They will be performing on stage between 1 pm and 9 pm.
The Car Show and Beer Garden
Do you have a well-kept beauty parked in your garage dying to get out for a spin? Why not take it on down to Woodstock Skagit and enter it into the car and motorcycle show?
