Wine, cocktails, tiny beautiful food artworks distributed on trays, mouth-watering desserts… does this sound like the sort of luxury you’ve been in need of? If so, you need to attend the Ladies Night Out Sip and Shop this coming week on the 8th of November.
What to Expect
Whether we express it or not, we are all too familiar with that feeling of sheer accomplishment at finding a really good deal. Well, how about a special evening devoted to great deals just in time for a little pre-festive season shopping?
Head over to the Ladies Night where you can sample an array of ciders, beer, and Washington wines from various stores. Watch in awe as some of your favorite, “strictly window-shopping” stores offer up fantastic specials. End off your evening with a visit to the Pop-Up Wine Shop where you are sure to find a wine to your taste.
In a display of community, everyone comes together as business hours roll over after hours to help create an evening of festivities. If you know anything about the people of Mount Vernon, you’ll know that we love our neighborhood and treasure the role each individual plays towards re-energizing local business economies. Community is all about uplifting and helping one another.

For those who finish work early, grab yourself a VIP ticket and join in on the Happy Hour happening between 4-5 pm on the day. This will be hosted by the Valley Financial Group who has so generously sponsored this year’s event.

Should you decide that walking is far too much effort for the heeled-individuals of your group, you could always just hop into a limo for a complimentary ride around the town sponsored by The Grand Hotel and Knox Community Hospital.

Admission Price
Tickets are available online or at the door for between $15 and $30. There are designated driver, general admission, and VIP options.
Tickets are limited so you would be wise to grab them as fast as you can. This celebration is an annual, tried-and-tested event that keeps everyone coming back. All you have to do is take along your ID and proof of payment. Digital receipts are accepted too.

To collect your items and begin your journey through the amass of excitement, you should head over to Latham Realty. Don’t forget to take your ID and proof of ticket purchase (printed or digital) for check-in where you will receive a wristband and some commemorative glass.
How to Get There
A drive through Downtown Mount Vernon will reveal loads of parking spaces available for your designated driver. Additionally, the River Walk or Revetment will be open if you struggle to find street parking.
For those who don’t have designated drivers, be safe and use Lyft, Uber, or Yellow Cab to get you to and from the evening.
Door Prize
All attendees of the evening will be given a little coupon book upon arrival. Potter around to various stores, collecting stamps to fill your booklet. 9 stamps will grant you an automatic entry to win a basket of bottles from 16 participating winery/ ciders/ distillery/ brewery guests.
