Our Events & Festivals
Mount Vernon includes a Historic Downtown, waterfront park, historic barn tour, wildlife, wineries and breweries that welcome you to experience all the adventures to be had year round. On the eastern edge of the county along a magnificent stretch of highway are the North Cascade Mountains where you can view eagles on the Skagit River or take a hike on 50 miles of trails. Riverwalk Summer Concert Series 2019
The City of Mount Vernon and the Mount Vernon Chamber of Commerce are proud to announce the 2020 Riverwalk Summer Concert Series. Dust off your lawn chairs and your picnic gear and come to historic Downtown Mount Vernon for relaxation along the riverfront. Listen and dance to live music set against the backdrop of the majestic Skagit River.

25th Annual Skagit Valley Highland Games
Please join us for the 25th Annual Skagit Valley Highland Games & Celtic Festival. Held the second full weekend each July, this Festival attracts over 10,000 people each year. We think of it as a kind of “Scottish 3-ring circus,” with a wide range of activities for young and old alike.
